Automatic Text Insertion for AutoCAD

fmLabel™ included in Simple FM Tools™, is an AutoCAD text insertion tool with flexible prefix, suffix, and incrementing value capabilities that transform text insertion into a fast and simple process within AutoCAD.

• Auto text increment by any value
• Prefix & Suffix ability
• Auto suffix increment by any value (alphanumeric)

Insert text incrementally into the drawing by a user defined value, for example a starting number of 100 and an increment value of 2 will produce 100, 102, 104, etc. Add a prefix such as RM- and the results will be RM-100, RM-102, RM-104, etc.

The suffix capability in fmLabel allows the user to add either a common suffix to each incremented number, or the option to keep the number constant and increment the suffix by a user defined value. For example the prefixed number number RM-100 assigned an increment value of 2, and a suffix "A", will produce RM-100A, RM-102A, RM-104A, etc. Keeping the number constant and incrementing the suffix by 2 will produce RM-100A, RM-100C, RM-100E, etc.

Space Auditing Made Easy in AutoCAD

The space auditing tool fmAudit™ is designed to check polylines and their associated text within an AutoCAD floor plan drawing.

fmAudit will highlight polyline and text errors so that the AutoCAD user is able to identify and correct the problems before the AutoCAD floor plan drawing is imported into CAFM, increasing the speed and accuracy of the CAFM system implementation.
